AWPA is excited to announce that two head coaches are visiting the Alberta Regional Development Centre Calgary! Pat Oaten and David Paradelo will be assessing the next generation of athletes, in accordance with WPC’s pathway documentation for athlete evaluation. This is not standard for our senior coaches to come across the country but because the Youth Worlds is this summer and Canada must qualify at the UANA tournament January in Brazil (born in 2004 & under). These assessments will allow athletes who are eligible for national team programs to find ways to engage based on their eligibility criteria. Each year all athletes who are a part of the RDC’s will be evaluated and included into the national depth chart as well as watching NCL programs.
