Congratulations to all the WP4 teams, male and female who participated in the 2021-22 season!
At the conclusion of this league with the male side:
Thunderbirds team won for top points and games won and goal differential if we only considered the 2022 games.
Seawolves won their first 2 games against Thunderbirds on the final weekend
Seawolves received their gold medals Saturday and the Thunderbirds will also be getting theirs shortly
Female side:
Gold medal was won by Thunderbirds, games won and points overall
Silver medal won by Seawolves for games won and points overall
Bronze medal won by Dolphins
I would like to thank all the clubs, athletes, coaches for their support in us starting this league for our youth athletes. Our hope is to have many more teams in the recent future in Alberta and continue to be an example to other provinces of having another stream of water polo being played by those athletes who do not what to participate in the national league.
